5. Updating Cash Bids /Cash Bids Price Matrix

Purpose/Summary
To update basis or cash price on all contracts of a given commodity at the same time, without having to go to separate pages for each location.

How It Works
Once you've completed the set up of your bids, updating your bids is a simple process:

From your Administration Main Menu, select Publish Cash Bids.
Under the heading Update Prices, select the commodity you wish to update from the drop down menu and click the Go button.
The table will show all active contracts for every location of the commodity chosen. You can choose to view your Cash or Basis prices, but you may only edit depending on the Calc Price Using selection. (see Cash Bid Administration)
Clicking into the first box will place your cursor and allow you to change your basis/cash price by using the arrow keys on your keyboard. Once you have changed your bid, you may move to the next bid/cash price by pressing the Tab button on your keyboard.
Once you have completed your updates, click the button marked Update Corn (or other selected commodity). This will ensure your changes are saved. You may then opt to add or edit your contracts by clicking the link at the end of each location entitled Edit Contracts.
You have the option to change all basis/cash prices at one time. The Change All Prices By drop down menu offers three choices for changing all basis/cash prices at one time. Once you've selected the amount to increase or decrease, click on the arrow buttons to change all prices by that amount. Once you've finished, be sure to click the Update button to save your changes.
