Adding and Updating Users

Purpose/Summary

The AgHost system allows you to add and update users.

How It Works
Users are the individuals that will be viewing your Web Site. AgHost.net allows you to give permissions to certain people/groups to view select parts of your Web Site. For instance, if you only want select customers to view your Cash Bids, you can require a user ID and password to do so and you could create and administer these user IDs yourself.

To import a current customer list to your Web Site without loading each individually, click "Upload Customer File".

To add users individually, click "Add New User". A new screen will appear, type in the first and last names, E-mail and the password twice. The E-mail will be used as the user ID and both the password and ID will be sent to the new user in the form of an e-mail, to the address you typed into their profile.

Click Submit and you are ready to input another user, update or delete current users.

Use the letters to search by last name for a specific user, or click "All" to view the entire list at 20 per screen.

You can also upload a list of customers by clicking on "Upload Your Customer File" and then clicking browse. Next find your file (must be .txt or .csv) and click "Submit". Pressing "Cancel" will return you to the previous screen without uploading your customer file.

Click "Return to Main Menu" when you are finished entering users.
