Purpose/Summary

Set Email/Text Message Preferences for Cash Bid Delivery

How It Works
  • Email
    1. Layout Preferences
      • Select Template
      • Create header and custom message (note: header does not appear on Default Template)
      • Select additional content to include in email.
    2. Delivery Preferences
      • Click check box to Enable Email Messaging
      • Enter subject of email (example "Today's Closing Bids")
      • Enter from address (this will appear as the sender of the email)
      • Select group to receive emails (Cash Bid Emails group will automatically be created when users sign up and select option to receive daily bid emails)
      • Enable Auto-Send if desired by selecting "Yes" and selecting a time to send
      • Select contracts to email
        1. Exclusively Show All Contracts visible on cash bids page
          or
          Show Selected Contracts and automatically include nearby bids (Slected contracts are those checked off in the bid table below the selection options)
          or
          Show Selected contracts only (selected contracts are those checked off on the bid table below the selection options)
        2. Select contracts by checking off on the bid table
        3. Click Update Preferences (be sure to update preferences before sending or changing locations)
        4. Change to next location and select contracts to email
        5. Click the Preview Email link to verify selections and layout before sending
  • Text Message
    • Customize Text Message Delivery Options for each Location
      1. Create Location/Message Tag to appear in Text Message
      2. Select User Group to receive Text Message
      3. Enable Auto-Send if desired by selecting "Yes" and selecting a time to send.
      4. Select Contracts to show on Text Message
        Show Selected Contracts and Automatically Include Nearby Contracts (select contracts by checking off on the bid table)
        or
        Show Selected Contracts ONLY (select contracts by checking off on the bid table)
      5. Select Additional Details - check box to include Basis
      6. Click Update Preferences (be sure to update preferences before sending or changing locations)
      7. Click the Preview Email link to verify selections and layout before sending
